Quantus makes receiving and shipping convenient.
Quantus accommodates both automated and manual shipping and receiving areas. At Quantus, we understand that most shipping and receiving is done away from your administration area. With Quantus, you can automate shipping and receiving so orders can be shipped and received in the system right from the loading dock. You can use touch screens, barcode readers or regular terminals.
We also understand that smaller operations sometimes want to use a more manual system in this area. If this is the case, reports for receiving are printed, and once orders are manually verified, entered into the system.
Receiving
- Receive orders and automatically update inventory.
- Provide a screen indicating which purchase orders are expected to arrive on that day.
- Search for purchase orders by status, account number, dates or order numbers.
- Receive each line to create backorders if an order is short.
- Allow fast entry of orders and verification using barcode readers and touch screens.
- Set controls so that you cannot use inventory before it is received, ensuring your inventory levels remain accurate.
Shipping
- Allow you to sort and view items by customer or date.
- Produce packing slips directly from the shipping screen.
- Allow you to use bar code readers and touch screens to enter shipments.
- Send out partial orders and create backorders automatically.
- Print pick tickets, packing slips, waybills and other documents you need for shipping from your shipping screen.
- Print the labels you need for your shipments.
- Customize all documents for shipping to look the way you want them.
- Notify accounting automatically once orders are shipped so that orders can be invoiced and customer accounts can be updated.
